Dr. Wendy Morua (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Psychologist who earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Morua is bilingual and a fluent Spanish speaker. In addition to her position at Stepping Stone, she currently works as a psychologist in the Houston Independent School District. She engages in consultation and crisis counseling in this position. She has also worked as a licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP) and a kindergarten teacher. Dr. Morua also has a Masters of Education from the University of Houston.
Dr. Morua works with children, adolescents, and their parents. She really values helping the individual and family learn to cope with depression, anxiety, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral problems. She specializes in therapy and assessment. In addition to offering therapies that work like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Dr. Morua really values the relationship with the client and believes that the relationship is key to helping the client reach their goals.

- For all other insurance companies or out-of-network plans, she will provide you with a superbill that you can file with your insurance company for reimbursement.
